May I walk in Your light and follow Your path at every step.

Love is a divine essence,
Its inbreathing is life.
What is opposed to love is enemy of life.
Those who love truly, they live;
For love abounds in unending life.
Lesson
There cannot be any devotion without whole-heartedness. There cannot be any devotion with calculation. As long as we have any element of calculation, there cannot be any real spiritual devotion. In the crude form of religion, we may pray out of fear. We are afraid of a powerful, revengeful Deity, so we bend our knees to be forgiven of our sins. But when we are truly devoted we bend our knees out of pure love and humble worship.
Prayer
In this hour of prayer, I lift my heart to the Divine Being;
May it receive Your Divine touch and be inspired with new fervor.
May all the wounds of my heart be healed by Your touch.
I bring all that I have and all that I am to that One
Who alone can give me fullness of life.
